Upon nearing it’s centennial, Cal Cedar a lumber and pencil slat producer, was moving offices and deciding to reflect on it’s history and brand.

In designing for a business with such a rich history I was influenced by the late 19th and early 20th century design and typography. In creating a strong primary mark I was able to extend the brand to be reflected in materials, production, methods and usage guidelines.
